Rafael Diaz Rey, the guy who converted his '48 Mercury blue taxi in Cuba and got boarded before making it to Florida needs a round of applause. If it weren't for that Cuba thing we perpetuate, a MOW would be made about his determination and virtuosity. So what do the G-men do with the masterpiece that belongs in the Smithsonian? They're gonna sink it!! Makes me have to get up and walk around. In 2005, a 50 year old car almost makes the journey to Florida and it will be treated as trash.
