People are buying Buicks and Chevys because
they're as cheap as when a GM employee
buys one. One dealer here was offering micro-Firebirds
as "Free With Purchase" of
one of the many behemoth SUVs that just
haven't been selling. So I went to the
showroom and asked if anyone bought
anything today and the guy got pissed when I
ask for the free one based on that purchase.
He said I was validating his mistrust of
strangers. Tough to make a buck in this
market...
