Alternative Realities

When freedom is the pudding on the table, all
of the other dishes are part of that reality. In
this version, freedom is like one planet in the
solar system, meaning all rest of the others
outnumber freedom, so enjoy it while it's still
there. There is a mano a mano between the
guy whose mate represents the freedom he
never knew and the other guy who stands on
freedom being attainable ONLY if you get
unmated. Most of the guys I knew would vote
for the latter. But if your only true
nourishment comes from her being in your
life, you were never free until she
reconstituted your life. So if all of this were
happening in a place where you are owned,
dominated by some force, would she and I
still be free to love each other like now? Damn
right we would. The freedom comes from
being right where you would pick if you could
and I picked with her.
